i can't watch any of the preseason. it is too long and playing so many preseason games is pointless.

I like to watch, but usually only hte second half. You usually already know the scoop on the starters, so that seems a waste of time, unless you got one coming off a major injury, like Carson, or Big Ben last year.
What I do like is getting a look at the rookie class, and how they are shaping up. It is true they usually don't play against the tops, but you can get a good idea ot hreir potential impact ( liked watching Ndukwe saw Bell off at the knees for instance, or C.J. against Leon Hall.) In fact, usually seeing a rook play against the vet can be misleading, simply because even the best rook is inexperienced.
So I'm fine with them, but I agree, they could lose the fourth game, as even the analysts agree it is pretty pointless. I heard a rumor on ESPN that htey were considering adding a regular season game at the expense of a pre-season. That would be pretty sweet, right?

I love football. Yeah I know pre-season doesn't count but it's a chance to see what the seasons gonna look like. I think they do it so people could get their favorite teams for football pools at work and to let the not so good players have a chance on the field also for the rookies to get used to playing so they won't freeze up when the season starts.
The Raiders are looking good in 2007

I LOVE PRESEASON
and here is why....i know the big argument is that the big players dont play that much and so its boring....maybe but the fact is A its still football B you get to see the 2nd dimension to the game you get to see the young up and comers they guys that bust *** all year long so that the starters are in top condition and they guys that will one day be in their shoes and in case someone gets hurt.....plus im really big on fantasy football so it helps to know the players and not just the superstars of the leauge!

the reason why you just cant go to the regular season is because its for the coaches to see if some of the players are worthy of being on there roster and also to get them a little more prepared and some people on the roster fight for some positions.
I would rather watch the regular season
but the preseason isnt that bad

Pre seasonis fun to watch becuz you get to see Rookies for the first time and you get to watch young talented pros fight for there job on a team. True the big name playas only play a quarter at most but Id rather have them not playin becuz i want them healthy for reg season.
