Don't people who abuse animals PISS you off?

I swear, it's like no one has consideration for anything anymore. What sucks is no one considers it a "serious" crime. I think the crime laws should be stricter. Probation is out of the question. That is STUPID because most people don't even follow through with it.

alright, to the people who asked and said we should "stop the children abuse" first, yes children do need protection, but it's not like that problem will EVER be stopped.
What I'm saying is at least the child abusers have SOME form of punishment while animal abusers have NO punishment.
So yes, I care about the little children, but I'm far more concerned about the animals.

And to the guy who talks about "getting rid of cats and birds in his yard" what are you two? GROW UP.

Unfortunately, most people do not know that animals are very intelligent, have feelings and they have souls. God made them, and their souls go to Heaven when they die.
What gets me angry is that people who want pets are not allowed to have them in apartments, so the SPCA kills what amounts to a football stadium full of pets per year.

Yes, animal abusers should find something better to do instead of harming innocent creatures. I don't get why people make more of a fuss about some human getting murdered than a cat. They are all alive and feel pain. I could care less if another human was dead there are too many anyway but if a cat died it sadder. A bond between a human and an animal is a very strong bond and it shares a kind of love that is unique and people that have never had a pet before are incomplete and often lack respect for life. If everyone could have a pet the world would be more peaceful because, more considerations will be taken and people would be less violent. Less lives will be lost and the ones that did pass away will be mourned.

To all of you, hearting an animal is as bad as hearting a child, it's not that entity it's hearting a life form that can't protect it's self, And count on adults to live, So I feel very comfortable to say yes animal abuser's piss me off as much as you people that want to compare 2 wrongs, to make a point, a life form is a life form, If it's an animal or a humane . And it should piss off every body?

I totally agree. Not comparing it with child abuse, or all other forms of suffering that people go through, animal abuse still needs to be taken more seriously than it is. There need to be universal laws and enforced penalties against blatant cruelty to animals. There needs to be a balance where animal rights are concerned, and we don't all want to be vegetarians, but animal abuse is definitely sickening. Perhaps in a perfect world, if human suffering or torment were suddenly eliminated, so would animal abuse be. If life has alot of hardships or whenever suffering is a daily reality e.g. famine or any type of human suffering including mental, this potentially increases the chances of at least one animal suffering too or being abused. Animal abuse may also reveal the inflicting persons' character to be unkind or spiritually lost. Someone has to be evil to inflict animal cruelty, especially in extreme exploitation or torture. We human beings are sinful, but we could all try a bit of a kindness and unselfish love by treating each other, and the animals, right.

If I saw someone abuse an animal I think I would go over and knock them out.

Animals are like little kids, they don't know what they are doing.

It is so sad to see an innocent animal being abused.

I think people who neglect their pets should be punished by law as if they were neglecting a child

If you torture a dog/cat...etc you should have to serve serious time in jail.

Good Day.
For information on the Animal abuse Crime act, call your local animal shelter/humane society! You;d be amazed at the penalties for harming an animal and for intentional cruelty, in ALL states across the usa. Also, if you know someone is harming an animal, either by intent or neglect, you can also notify your local animal shelter/humane society. They have rules, regulations and punishments that are less tolerant and lenient than the police. Hurting an animal is no laughing matter and jail time can be involved.
Another good contact is your local foresty service.
If a person can hurt a defensless, or less defensable animal,... they will next hurt a child. That child,... could be yours. STOP ANIMAL ABUSE!

Yes it does PISS me off.. Animal abuse is just plain wrong and should be dealt with more seriously. Abusing an animal is just like abusing a human being. They feel the same amount of pain as we do when being abused. I believe animals should have rights too.

Yes, I can't stand that. I think animal abusers should get the same treatment back at them, as part of their sentence. But there are many people who stand up for animals' rights too.

Yes they do! I worked with animals for 15 years all together and saw some pretty sad sights. And what do these sicko's get? A slap on the wrist and a "don't do it again". Sad tho, isn't it?

well there is a lot of societies which protects the animals and ppl call that society hippies. if u wanny join in (if u r a male) then u have to grow up a lil bit hair, if u r a girl then u have to be ready to show anything in ur body to male hippy some times

this is a free world. animal cruelty is different from the cycle of life.

wel because of the cows the methane gas is spreading 26% faster and warms up the earth. as muslims eat them it is a cycle in these days.

Seriously, I do agree that people would come first, but it's like animals have no rights whatsoever. >.< I really hate people who abuse animals AND people. Animals should have some rights too.
