In public? Then, "Yes," it is too far!.
Common decency would dictate that, and it's good to hear that you wouldn't do such a thing. Common sense will hopefully win out here & not let a belt (alone) become a new fashion trend!
That reminds of something I remember hearing so many years ago related to this topic. Back in the 60s (unconfirmed rumor has it) a famous disc jockey, by the name of Dick Biondi, on WLS Radio in Chicago during his 9:00 pm to Midnight show was instantly removed from the airwaves for telling this joke: "If the girls skirts get any shorter, there will be more hair to comb and two more cheeks to powder! (drum roll please) Thank you."

ha ha ha I missread that at first. I thoght you said belt and a miniskirt. I can't see whyt that would be too far, but you said belt as skirt.
Well what kind of attention are you after? If you fdon't mind sexual remarks and if you'tre at a nightclub, then this type of outfit might work for you. It would be best if you have a good body.
I want to see your panties umm i mean he he he I'd like to see your skirt. but you might give old ladies heart failure.

Yes I think wearing a belt as a mini skirt is probably going too far.

How wide the belt is will of course help!
However a super wide belt with a nice pair of lace panties looks nice! Seen it in South of France and South America alot NOT the U.S.!

I should coco.... somethings should be reserved for the guy that matters and showin off your legs to all the greasy ol gits, just doesn't create a feeling of security with some guys. And I'm afraid I'm of that opinion.
But, if you're not attached, then no-one can get the wrong idea, can they? (Except, maybe all the locals)

I think if a girl goes that far, she must have issues of some sort. If she feels she needs to do that for attation, she obvosuly needs help, and some work on some self respect

A belt is far too long! I would suggest a piece of cotton in a fetching shade of fuschia. Preferably by Versace. Have fun, pmsl!!!

Erm - 100 per cent YES! That is TRULY asking for trouble - and I'll probably get pelters for that one! Years ago my male friends used to call mini skirts "f*nny pelmets". What they'd make of this I don't know!
