Get on the M54 and then the A5 through Shrewsbury and head for Welshpool. Then on to Newtown and finally to Aberystwyth in Wales - that is about the quickest way. then just tour up and down the Welsh coast - even go across to Angelsey? I would Google Wolverhampton to Aberystwyth and then click maps! If you ask for directions it will give you all the directions from Darlington Street Wolverhampton to Aberystwyth ! You could always print the map too. Or go to Barmouth - slightly quicker and it's close to Snowden and the Festiniog railway! Check out the Satellite view. I could see my car on the drive when I zoomed in on that! lol
I put a bit of video in a blog about Wales the other night - take a look - click menu on the first video and watch Connie sing!

Weston Supermare down the M5 southbound or Barmouth in north Wales, M54, A5, A494, A496.
Have a look for routes on the AA website, enter your start (Wolverhampton or your postcode) & end destination and it will give you a route to print out.
Weston & Barmouth are both about a 2 to 2 and a half hour drive.
