Depends on how well the people in love define love. Some think of love as simple as most think of lust- and thus it cannot be strong enough to hold air let alone anything else. However, often, people fall out of love and it no longer is enough. So it can be enough- but not for everyone and not forever.

It is enough until the bills come, then I am going to need some money to keep a roof over my head and some food.

It doesn't conquer all things. Only people who want to put in the effort will be able to conquer all.
Love isn't enough. It needs caring, compassion, time, passion, committment, respect....

I had never been in love.
