midnight showing of one of the Lord of the Rings movies (I think it was The Two Towers)
other than that, I think it was the 9:55 showing of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

I saw a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Two Halloweens in a row, in fact. Too old to stay up that late now, though!

I went with a friend to see the first Batman when it first came out. Midnight showing, but we had to stand in line 3 hours beforehand. I did this purely as a friend because I don't LIKE Batman!

We saw a Sunday matinee of the new Harry Potter movie the weekend it came out.
We loved it----and we're in our forties!
