Love is not so easily defined. It is 'in the making' complete, refined.

Certain things can not be possessed in the usual sense. They can be shared, enjoyed or become part of us. Sometimes we confuse love with our appetites. If we eat an apple it becomes part of us, but it satisfies us for only until we are hungry for the next meal. Some things like love, knowledge, wisdom, can not be held in our hand, or put in our pocket. True love is not is not a passing fancy, it is forever. Some people are not able to find that kind of love. Most people do find it. Good luck in your pursuit.

No. It's all in your definition of love.

What is love?

Is it something you want, that makes you feel good? That doesn't focus on anothers needs? That is me, me, me - especially during arguments? Self clamoring for everything it wants and that feels good & right to it?

Or is it doing what's right because it's right regardless of how you feel inside?

I know, it's a song. But the principles rubbed me the wrong way.

God is love, Jesus is my Friend, therefore Love is my Friend.
