Robert Ludlum created the Jason Bourne character and he appeared in The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum.

The film was based on the series of books written by Robert Ludlum: The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum.

He is author of around 30 novels, most of which have been best-sellers or in the Top 10 Chart for books. His best known novels other than the Bourne series are 'The Scarlatti Inheritance' and 'The Chancellor Manuscript'.

It's Robert Ludlum, and it's the other way around. The Film is based on the book. The novel "The Bourne Ultimatum" was first released in 1990. Seventeen years before the release of the film.

robert ludlum wrote the bourne trilogy. he died whilst working as consultant on the first of the movies. don't really understand your question tho it's obviously not the other two but hey, two points is two points x
