I've got punk band Tshirts older than you, dude... but happy birthday nonetheless. Advice for the new teenager here:
*Anybody that does illegal drugs to escape reality that they can't handle on sober air are cowards looking for an easy way out. Don't be a coward.
*Your performance in school right now DOES affect the rest of your life, so don't f*ck it up by choosing a night out with the dudes instead of homework.
*If a girl says no, move on...it's not a reflection on your manliness. Don't start spreading rumors about her either, it will backfire and bite you in the a*s eventually.
*If you have a teacher that's giving you a hard time, SPEAK THE F*CK UP about it to your academic counselor...if that doesn't work, go to the vice principal. If that don't work, go to the principal. If THAT doesn't work, appeal to the board of education, because teachers seem to be getting less concerned about their decorum towards students as the years pass; i think it has to do with how much they're getting paid nowadays.
*Don't smoke cigarettes, EVER...it's hard as hell to quit once you get started.
One last piece of advice here: don't ever let the opinions of what your peers think is "cool" and "in" shape who you are, what you wear and what you do. The punks and goths of the last generation are the ones who now have a strong sense of worth and individuality while the rest are some degree of just being sheep and lemmings.
