Anyone wear shoes and socks all the time when they were kids?

I use to put my shoes on when I woke up in the morning and would wear them until bedtime. So on a school day I had shoes on from 7:00 am until 9:00 pm, sometimes longer if it was a Friday and we went out that night. Was anyone else like this or did you know anyone that was?

where I lived it was safer to wear shoes than go barefoot. there were thorns all over the place and shoes gave at least some protection.

Barefoot, barefoot, barefoot. I go everywhere barefoot that I'm allowed. If I'm putting on shoes, though, it's most likely sandals, or something that feels like being barefoot. I have to scrub my feet a lot because they turn black because of it.

nope, it was barefeet for me all the time. (still is :)
