Not judging ppl by their appearance is all P/C Bull S**t.
You CAN tell things from a persons appearance. You can tell their race, gender and age (most of the time), you can usually tell economic standing. Taste in clothing, jewelry and hair style will give you an idea of their personality...
You may not be able to judge a persons inner worth but there are alot of judgments you can make about a person from their appearance. And you should. They look like they do for a reason. People have a choice in how they look and are telling others about themselves with what they choose.

Correct, a person should never judge a book by its cover, though the outside my appear to be all in place, the inside may not be, or even if the outside ISNT in place, the inside could be, some people that may look "bad" on the outside my not be a choice to them, wether they have just been given the bad hand in life or other wise, alot of people judge to quickly these days and it is a very sad thing, but its also human nature, some of us just dont want to take the time out in life to get to know the other well enough, so they base everything on what they see on the outside to get an idea of the person, which is almost always misleading.

Yes, its true. Yet the research has proved that external appearance does matter. that is; people do take the external appearance into consideration while judging any person. This by itself creates bias in judging others. This conclusion itself is confusing one as the interview method shows that most of the people say They don't consider the looks while judging others on any abilities. But in practicality its the opposite.

Define "judge a person."
If I see someone decked out in jewelry and fur, driving a Rolls Royce and having people wait on him/her at every moment, it would still be wrong to judge his or her internal characteristics, such as feelings about the poor or the amount s/he probably gives to charity.
But I could make an informed judgment about the person's lifestyle and spending habits, and would be reasonable in making that judgment. I could say that it's wasteful and unnecessary. I wouldn't feel bad about that.
People communicate with the clothes they wear, with the expressions they give to others, with the way they treat cashiers and servers, and with their body language. If you're taking what they're giving you as evidence of the type of person they are, then you can only really go with that and think accordingly.
An example, if a hitchhiker looks really really creepy and you don't feel safe stopping to pick him up, you're trusting your instinct by passing him. It's a judgment that he might not be safe, but there's nothing wrong with it.

Okay, your a human resource officer, performing intereviews for new employees. Some cat comes in with tattoos and piercing all over his body, wearing clothing with offensive writting on it. Hes young, say 19 years old, and therefore doesnt have enough work history to make a decision based on that. What do you do? You look at the guy, decide hes a slacker and thank him for his time. Sometimes, all you have to judge someone by is their appearance.

How else should you judge people that you don't know. If I see a guy dressed as a muslim yelling and praying I will think about him differently than a nun sitting with a rosary. also if I see an erratic dirty person with a knife I will judge him differently than if I would see a nudist. apperance does matter.

no one can support ones answer<>for that one need to be honest. I project my self very cultured and gud person,I shall write what all likes to read, not to judge by appearance, but reality is different, otherwise, why white collar cheater are not called goondas,Have you ever heard of any politician proved to cheater? though we point out easily,so to write and believe is also different,I personally believe that, even though you are good by heart try to be neat and clean, never get granted, but our society is hypo crate, never bother about others but will citise others for the same,so that is, for my conviction there is no support, coz i belive what i follow.

No. I like it as is. That way for the ones that lost out on knowing that individual turns out to literally be the ultimate loser. Saves the person who is not afraid to be themselves a lot of time and trouble. They are the very ones that live their lives and are happy.

"Appearances are deceptive.". When I saw my girl friend for the first time she looked just like an ordinary girl. She turned out to be extremely brilliant even though she did not seem to appear like that.
