Unfortunately too many people seem to like their food. I agree there is little to admire about them, but as long as people want what they have to offer then they will remain in business. There have been a few cases where they have closed branches through lack of business because of the local culture, unhappily these cases are few and far between.
The same is true of the big supermarkets, like Tesco and Asda, as long as human sheep flock to them they will continue to fleece the public.

There is a finite amount of people out there who want to eat McDonalds so dont worry theyre not likely to be able to take over the world. Anyway they have improved a bit they were even offering salad.

recent news I have read. Say that studies done showed that credit cards are actually a reason for why more and more americans are becoming more and more obese, this allows us of course to go on our rushed life for a quick lunch and of course what better that fast foods as the reason why most adults choose mcdonald's those are unknown to me, as for kids well they are brand influenced mcdonalds is so popular nowadays and their parents eat it a lot that well is bound to have some impact on their minds.

McDonalds is a Corporation with really good marketing. They don't even need to dump money into ads on TV anymore. The best part is the burgers taste so good. MmM.
And it's "fast" food too. Nobody has time to cook anymore.

Because people like to eat fat...people people are lazy...because people are still eating there, and that's enough to keep them in business. That's the beauty of the USA, it doesn't matter if YOU don't like McDonald's, b/c some people do, and they have a right to eat whatever they want...

People freely choose to spend their money on things that they want, need or desire. McDonalds provides something that people want, at a price they are willing to pay!
If you do not want what they offer, spend your money elsewhere. You should not try to impose your view of the world on everyone!

The reason they are still going strong, is that they have adapted to cater for what the consumer demands.
As long as people keep piling in the doors and paying them money, they will expand further.

McDonald's are very very popular, lots of people love there food so why not open more businesses. People buy there goods so they would be mad not to open more.
