peoplee say im "scene" or "emo" whateever that meansss.. whyy? please help!! look at my other questions for pictures.. bc idk no if being 'scene' or 'emo' is discribingg me or somethingg... i usually wear bows and ribbons and bow headbands and shop at at hottopic and forever 21... if that helpss.......

You are pretty. You love decorating yourself. I have a feeling you are self conscience. But if you like the bows and ribbons wear them. But if you do... you are naturally going to attract attention and your gfs are going to not like the attention going your way (or in your direction) and they will put labels on you that dont really fit they just intend to make you feel bad. So stay cute wear what you want and ignore them

I'm not really the same but I shop at hollister, AND hot topic, so people think i'm weird. But i just buy things that represent me or that i think are cute. For example, i liek a lot of bands, so i shop at hot topic for band shirts. I don't understand this. Hold on, im gonna look at your pics and then edit.

yes the bows + stores help. maybie they think your scene bcuz scene people wear bows in their hair. your so pretty, you tottaly dont look scene or emo. but if you shop at hottopic people are going to think your emo or scene anyways. if you wear like, a pink top or something with the bow. it would shock people and make them see its just your style.

mom of a teen and i have worked at the schools we see alot of strange things from the emo kids please dont be the type or be invited to that type that does unreal body damage to themselves it sound as if i was you i would just start shopping anywhere else other then those stores hunny they kinda cater to those emo groups good luck GOD BLESS

By just saying you shop at hottopic explains why ppl say your emo....some of their items are rather emo...even though its a "goth" store.

Well from one perspective ...when i was in college i took sociology...it taught me that humans like to classify one another into groups...its human behavior..i saw one of your questions...with a pic...you are cute as a button and i like your style...its unique and not emo in my opinion...i would say you represent more Japanese street fashion...be yourself and don't listen to what people say..in the long run you will be much happier..good luck in school!
