So guys, you buy the cinema tickets, a bit of dinner and a bottle of house white and feel hard done by cause you only got a kiss. We have had a full body wax, our hair done, a new outfit, and spent a zillion quid phoning our mates to reassure us we haven't gone over the top? So who really DOES spend the most?

im a bit of a traditionalist i like to take my woman out and dont expect her to pay, but most woman today like to share the cost of the night. Equality and all that if it is something important woman will go over the top with shoes, hair, dress, etc etc so probably woman

It should be fifty-fifty... always. Do you buy a new outfit EVERY TIME you're asked out ? Do you have a full body wax EVERY TIME you are asked out on a date ?

Well, I think who ever asks for the date, should pay, but since it's usually the guy asking the girl, then probably guys pay more. But, I either pay for myself, or pay half, whichever. I don't like people paying for me. And as far as gettin' a full body wax...Why in the world would you do that? Ouch...I'll get my eyebrows waxed..that's it. Are you hoping for more on a first date..Not just a kiss...Are you asking out sluts?...Because most woman, won't give it up on the first date.That'd be like having sex with a complete stranger...Ew.
