Thanks for the answers. I was never hit. But in my terrible two years teaching i tossed a couple students around.
I had one high schooler arrive three hours late, stuffing his stoned face with pringles. so i sent him out of the room the hard way. Totally ruined his buzz.

In Iran (I'm living here), they beat the students with rulers. One time, a teacher even broke a kids arm, and he went to the hospital. Most of the bad students go home with bruises.

No, but some nerds were making fun of my Ap world history teacher because she would not figure out how to use a dvd player, and she smacked them with the dvd case.

There was this teacher I had in eighth who would throw his chalkboard eraser at students who were talking or not paying attention. I got popped in the head once. It didn't hurt, it was just a little embarrassing! But I had it coming.

I had a teacher punch a hole in the wall right next to my head. His wife witnessed it, and she looked very upset.

He was also well known as an abusive spouse and parent.

Boxing instructors can be very mean. You learn by getting hit.

My mom used to be a teacher and when I was little i got spanked. So, yeah, i've been hit by a teacher.

My teacher hit me in the back of the head with his hand....it was freak-in hilarious but I definitely shut my mouth after that..

my elementary teacher hi me one time, and yes I had it coming i kept making fun of her and rolling my eyes!! she grabbed my ear and i pushed her away then she kinda hit me, and dragged me down the hallway! it's a really long story but it started by me and another kid fighting!

no... but one of my classmates got hit by the teacher once.... he trnsfered to a different class.. and eventually the teacher got fired.
