There are many things in my attic. Things that should never be let out, angry and hungry, they wait for the person who ignores the advice of his friends and climbs the stairs to their lair. At night you hear the chains rattle and clink as they hunt among the spider webs for some unfortunate creature not fast or wise enough to leave. Strange that I have no mice in this old house. I always send Jehovah's witnesses and sales people up the back stairs for a little "visit"

Attic, no, it isn't practical, or likely not safe, and may affect the longevity of the batteries. You should build a shed on the side of your house that is nearly at ground level, and vented. Also, you want to use proper deep cycle batteries for best results. Car batteries are not the best thing to use for the duty of a solar system.

We have no attic, I don't like to store stuff I don't use. A person need to declutter there environment in order to be able to declutter their mind, Or so I think. It is my project this year, to take out more then I bring in.

Spider webs and cardboard boxes my appliances came in. And oh, a closet that I don't need anymore.
