It's only 10:35 a.m. here in Nevada, But it's already 85 and on the way to a projected 99 (or more) today. Its 68 here in the house with the swamp cooler on. We are planning a bar b que today tho... I filled up the pool yesterday.

To "winterose" -- The ONLY places that ever get as cold as 8 degrees, F., in Africa, are such places as the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro. You must be referring to Centigrade -- which is around 46 degrees F. A temperature that MOST Americans would KILL to be experiencing, this week. :)

It is 95 here in East Texas, NW Louisiana with heat index of 105.
