If the Doctor does the abortion right and if there were no complications then you should have no problems getting pregnant later. The Doctor will able to tell you either way. Just make sure the next one is planned or you use protection.

I think if your period returns and you have a regular cycle you have nothing to worry about. Abortion is a very safe proceedure and so many are done. You could always check to see if you are ovulating...but I think as long as your cycle has returned as it was before I'm almost certain you are fine.

it usually takes about 5 abortions or D&C's for any reason, to be labeled as having an incompitent cervix, but even then it is still possible to carry to term

You can't, until you try and fail.
You may have to have an exam of your uterus to make certain you can physically get pregnant (scarring can mess up the uterine wall and prevent implantation)
