10: X

13: XIII

2006: MMVI

However, the Roman calender was radically different to ours:
- the tenth month in Roman times was not October but December. October therefore was the seventh month of the year.
- the days of the month were counted after the first, the ninth, and the thirteenth day of the month.
October is one of the MILMO months, i.e. one of the months were the Ides were on the 15th. All other months have the Ides on the 13th.
- years were usually counted "ab urbe condita", i.e. "from the foundation of the city Rome", i.e. 753 B.C.

So, to put it into somewhat Roman terms your date would be:
"two days before the Ides of October 2759 years after the foundation of the city".

Makes it sound a lot more important, doesn't it? LOL

Actually, since it's Roman, the date would be:

13/10/06, therefore XIII / X / MMVI

since Europeans generally say the day first then the month followed by the year.
