I have a summer Algebra packet for Algebra II
and I need help with the polynomials.
Please help??

1. (3x^2 - 4x + 6) + (2x^2 - x + 9)
2. (7m^2 + 5m - 9) - (3m^2 - 6)
3. 4a(3a^2 + b)
4. (3x + 5)(2x-4)
5. (b-5)(b+5)
6. (1/2x^2 + 1/4- 2/3) + (3/4x^2 - 1/2x + 3)
7. (2x + 3)(x^2 - 3x + 4)
8. (3x - 2y)^2

If you can answer just one or two of those I would GREATLY appreciate it.
I have 5 chapters of math due tomorrow for my Algebra II honors class!
This is my pain issue with the packet.
Plleeeaassse Help!
If you could just walk me through one of the problems I would be so grateful!

5. this is the diff of squares broken down so it becomes
b^2 - 25

8. 9x^2 - 12xy + 4y^2
4. 6x^2 -2x - 20
2. 7m^2-3m^2 + 5m +6-9 = 4m^2 + 5m - 3
1. 3x^2 - 4x + 6 + 2x^2 - x + 9 = 5x^2 -5x + 15
3. 4a(3a^2 + b) = 12a^3 + 4ab
7. (2x + 3)(x^2 - 3x + 4) = 2x^3 - 6x^2 + 8x + 3x^2 - 9x +12=
2x^3 - 3x^2 - x +12
6. (1/2x^2 + 1/4- 2/3) + (3/4x^2 - 1/2x + 3) =
1/2x^2 + 1/4- 2/3 + 3/4x^2 - 1/2x + 3 = 1 1/4 x^2 - 1/2x +(3 + 1/4 - 2/3)
for the number part do the fractions (36 + 3 - 8)/12 = 31/12
1 1/4 x^2 - 1/2x + 31/12

p(x) = x^2 - 6x - 3 q(x) = x^2 - 2x + 4. p(x) + a*q(x) = x^2(a+a million) - x (6 + 2a) + 4a - 3 = (a+a million)x^2 - 2x(3 + a) + 4a - 3. because of the fact this polynomial has equivalent roots, its discriminant could be 0 that's: [2*(3+a)]^2 - 4(a+a million)(4a-3) = 0 (a+3)^2 - (a+a million)(4a-3) = 0 a^2 + 6a + 9 - [4a^2 + a - 3] = 0 -3a^2 + 5a + 12 = 0 3a^2 - 5a - 12 = 0 fixing this equation, 3a^2 + 4a - 9a - 12 = 0 a(3a + 4) - 3 (3a + 4) = 0 (3a+4)(a-3) = 0 => a = -4/3 or a = 3. for this reason, the two available values of a are -4/3 and 3.

Its been a while since I did my maths courses but hopefully this will help, I get the following 1. 5x^2 - 5x + 15
3. 12a^3 + 4ab
4. 6x^2 - 2x - 20
5. b^2 - 25
8. 9x^2 - 12xy + 4y^2

4. (3x + 5)(2x - 4) = 6x^2 - 12x + 10x - 20
= 6x^2 - 2x - 20

5. (b - 5)(b + 5) = b^2 + 5b - 5b - 25
= b^2 - 25

7. (3x - 2y)^2 = (3x - 2y)(3x - 2y)
= 9x^2 - 6xy - 6xy + 4y^2
= 9x^2 - 12xy + 4y^2

I REALLY want to help you but I don't understand what EXACTLY do you want?

Do you need to simplify those Polynomials?
Please updating the question.
Also, I want to know you're in what grade?

I'm waiting your responses
