There has been a few stories in the news recently about parents tourting and kiling there own children. How can they do this??? I don't see what could ever drive a parent or any one to kill a child. I personally think they should be givn the death penalty!

In most cases, the sad truth is that not everyone is fit to be a parent. Mental illness, anger and rage issues, and all around ineptitude endanger children every day. That's just the causes that they can't do anything about, there is also drug and alcohol abuse, and the occasional prostitution problem. Unfortunately there is no way to stop people from having kids against their will. Some people you can tell shouldn't be allowed out in the streets, but they're allowed to have kids.
I will ring your doorbell and run away!!!

Personally I agree!Like that woman in Charleston who let her children burn up,then bathed them,and threw them under the closet sink in a trash bag.It can't be condoned regardless but there are many factors.Mental illness,stress,problems in the home,work failure,etc..But still I agree with you they should be given the death penalty.Unless they are literally unstable and don't even realize where they are much less what they are doing.Then they should get mental psychiatric help to see if they can be helped while still showing them compassion.Because they didn't mean to do what they did much less that they even knew that they even did it in the first place.

Children are seen as a millstone or sone other kind of dead weight. the parent, unable to handle their own problems, blame it on the child and make the child suffer.
The only reason I don;t want to give them the death penalty (although they deserve it) is that i feel they should suffer every day, reminded that they killed their own child

I have learnt some things of abuse and unfortunately in most cases of abuse against children the family is responsible(mam,dad,aunt,gran,etc).
I can't understand why are so many unfit parents and why nobody is reporting these things to Social Services.
Some families have been reported for smacking a child and they ended up with their children taken away.....what about those who beat them and torture them?
Where is the justice in that?

In many cases it is because the parents were abused themselves, as children! Abuse is a cycle, that unless broken, will continue to the next generation!
Any child who is abused mentally, emotionally,physically, or sexually, MUST get therapy, and counseling! It is vital to their mental heath to learn that it was NOT their fault, and that they did nothing to ask for it, or to deserve it!
If they don't? The cycle of abuse goes on! So, if you know anyone who has been abused, advise them to seek help!
edit:: and this has nothing to do with politics, either! That kind of comment comes from backward thinking! Republicans, as well as Democrats can, and have been, and will be, child abusers!

Probably because they can't tell the difference between 'their' and 'there' after many years in school.
Seriously though, I agree, ALL proven child murderers should be executed but the lefty liberals would argue that it goes against their human rights.I say that they forfeited those rights by deliberately killing/torturing those innocent children.

The story about a mother & a father not feeding their 10month old baby untill she starved & didn't change her nappy for 2 weeks so the poor child had ulcerated skin, servere rash & infected open wounds made me cry, I cannot understand how anyone could want to hurt their own child. It's sick.

I think the demons the Jehovah Witness are always talking about are in them, and not in our loved ones who have passed over and come back to us and give us comfort.
If we see our loved ones in dreams the Jehovah Witness always say we are seeing demons, they are wrong the demons are walking about in two feet beating and murdering their their own children.

i agree & as a mum of 4 myself, we all have times when our kids drive us round the twist, but hitting etc is abuse plain & simple....personally i cant hear a 'abused child' story on the news without bursting into tears.
there was one on sky news earlier & thats it river amazon flowed....lock em up & abuse them i say
