If u r out of ideas try these,
1)Write what u did today
2)Write what u hope to do tomorrow
3)Write what u did last Christmas
4)Write what u hope to do next Christmas
still no idea?
5)Read as many books as u can,especially children's books
no idea?
6)If u do not have an idea still, maintain a diary or write to a pen pal
One day u'll be ready to write a story,May be a lot of them and be popular
Today may be not the perfect time to write stories, but facts
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!! :)

Do you have companion animals? If so, why not write from your cat or dog's point of view? What would your pet(s) think about the world in which s/he lives?
Or what about a dialogue between you and your pet?
Or how about writing about the writing process: Where and how you get your ideas, how ideas are developed and fleshed out, your sources of inspiration and creativity, etc. etc.

Oh my god, don't pay attention to Johan from Sweden or wherever. He is so wrong. I like to write, too, and I have troubles coming up with good plots. Sometimes they'll just come to me when I least expect it (once when I was brushing my teeth, I thought of a plot, and another time when I was trying to get to sleep I did). But other times, like for when I have to write something like a short story for English, I do a couple of things:
1. I look at a picture that I did not choose. I try and make up something about it, like what it's about, how the people got there, or if it's just a scenery picture, what the place could be used for, if two characters ho were in love would meet there, you know? That sort of thing. Once we were all given the same picture in English and told to write a story about it. It was of two children in a forest-like place, walking into a light. I turned it into a memory of the main character and his little sister walking into the Have, an underground safety base for magicians, because there was a war going on against them, and all that stuff. The short story actually took place when the main character was about 15 or 16, and a new arrival came, and there was something fishy about her; her magic was too strong for age. I thought about continuing it on my own, as a chaptered story, and I was going to make the girl the bad guy, and stuff, but I ended the story with the two characters looking at eachother and the main character wondering who she was. Not very original but it got me an A. I've done this a couple times. Just make sure you have a plan for what you're writing ESPECIALLY if it's a chaptered story. Short stories can be whatever they want, I think I winged that other story I told you about, and it turned out alright, but they don't always, and I know that from experience.
2. I just start with a random sentence. For another example, I looked around in my sister's room one day, because we were hanging out and everything, and I started writing about the doorknob on her door. I made it into ice, and I went on to say the rest of the house was ice, and I can't remember what else I did with it, but I think that it was just a short piece without a real plot. But I wasn't trying, then, and maybe you could come up with something different?
I like fantasy best, because I can do whatever the hell I want with it. The characters could use wands, they could use they're fingers, the main characters don't even have to be magic. The magic could have come in a prologue, and years later, the story is based on the after effects of that magic. I don't know. But maybe you don't like fantasy, in which case you can still use what I do to start writing. But Persiphone is very very right. If you like science, you could write about that, maybe science-fiction is your thing? Or Science fiction and fantasy like in Artemis Fowl?
But there you go, dude. Hope that helps.

Youre not too much of an writer if you cant came up with ideas. Writing is all about coming up with ideas. From the general story to what the caracters should say. Its all about ideas! If you cant came up with thoose youre busted.
Maybe if you wait some years you will be more creative minded and thus ready to write? Johan

Imagine that if instead of building stuff, we grew plants that could do the same thing - like riding a really fast animal instead of driving a car, or breeding a bird that could fly as fast as an airplane and carry as many passengers. Then, a meteorite causes a sudden climate change, making it tough for plants to survive! What will our hero do . . .??

Re-view your writing to see if you have gone past an opening to another topic you can expand upon, give it your new view.
