Another Atheist; but, if I were Catholic, I would have nothing to confess to the neighborhood priest. I live a pretty clean life.

I don't think you would be shocked at my life, perhaps, amazed is a better word. I am! There are so many things that I never, in my younger years, would have anticipated happening. And the really neat thing is, I'm handling them and not letting them rule.
I have been fortunate in my life because I have had to deal with persons of all ages, ethnicities, backgrounds and lifestyles. This has certainly kept life interesting and a constant learning experience.
These people are the wonderful people that are living this life with me. They have the experiences that help shed light onto the problems, heartbreaks, joys and passions that others have. I love all these wonderful people, they're great in their own right, no matter what age they may be.

I love eyedontnose answer! lol
Not much about me to shock anyone, suprise you maybe. I try to be honest and positive. I know I try to sound happy all the time but I do have off days like anyone else. I just don't choose to share those days.
Of course I wonder who 'these people are' but it's not my business so I wouldn't ask. Although I do have a few contacts who know a lot about me that I don't discuss on here, I know something of their lives and families too, I trust them not to repeat what I say in private, just as I would never tell what I know about them.
One secret I will disclose though, just in case you wondered. I don't have purple hair and wouldn't ever wear big earrings. lol x

Yep, I do believe you would. My cousin is shocked she says boy you think different and changed, and some of my old chick friends say you go girl. I am not laying down and throwing in the towel. I party out, I work 5 days a week, I have a younger boyfriend and frankly I got it goin' on. I have no one to answer to. My cousin and a granddaughter are the only family I have. What is there to lose? It's already gone. I live today for today. SaLaVee. No fears no regrets, no
BS.

I guess I wouldn't worry if you'd be shocked or not, as you've indicated you don't know me. But the one thing I did find out, perhaps 10-15 years ago, is that you CAN get to know the folks here if you want to and make the effort. I belonged to a chat 'group' back in the day and we not only got to know each other we all converged and MET each other. I must say, that was one of the weekends of my life that I had the MOST FUN! I dare say the 'net' doesn't offer groups like that much anymore and it's a shame, you're definitely missing out!

The only thing about me that might shock anyone is that I am an Atheist. In the bible belt that is pretty rare and shocking to most around me. You wouldn't know it if I didn't tell you though. I look just like everybody else.

ummm ............ maybe!
On the outside I am a country lady with horses and dogs and my husband goes to work each day and comes home and we have friends over at the weekend and we go into our nearest decent town for the occasional 'super shop' - the rest of the time I cycle down the village shop and pick up the everyday stuff and catch up on the local gossip!
But behind closed doors - my Very Important Husband (!) and this middle classed housewife turn into very different creatures!
We regress by at least thirty years!
It has been known for him to chase me up and down the stairs, we have disgraced ourselves with food fights, we have gone swimming in the river at midnight and more often than not on a summers night can be found dancing on the lawn by moonlight!
Shocking? Surely not!
But a lot of fun!

No, but probably disappointed. I used to be quite the little socializer. I enjoyed dancing, dating, working.
Now I will not even go into a bar at all. I used to go a lot because I loved to play shuffleboard "horsecollar" game. (The table kind, not the sidewalk one) I got really got at it but met a fella and well.....I just don't drink anymore.
Oh, not working in a bar. Ha ha. I did not mean that at all. I just enjoyed my daytime job. What I guess I am trying to say is that I felt like I strayed from the life I should be living, and I did stray. A broken heart cannot mend when you try to destroy yourself in the process.

No, I think that we've learned from our answers, at least in the senior category, just how much we really are alike. We all seem to have the same values and respect and tolerance. Now in the other categories....well, some of the people are downright scary.....very racist and unaccepting of anyone different from themselves. Plus, some of their answers are so far off in information, and it scares me that someone gullible is going to believe it. But me, I'm just the average mom and grandma enjoying life and Y/A! Have a great day!

Personally, I don't care if my life shocks you or anyone else for that matter! MYOB & take care of yourself & we'll ALL get along much better in this world. My only wonder is this....ARE THEY PEOPLE? Real people? Or just some more computer generated crap? It's only the internet. It was meant to be used for entertainment & educational purposes. It's just another TOOL!
