What characteristics would you give your neighbor?

I think my idea of a perfect one would be someone who was intelligent and had a sense of humor similar to mine. They would take good care of their property and not have noisy barking dogs. I also think it would be nice if they would come over ans sit on the patio with me 'bout dark and share a drink and conversation, or just sit and quietly share the evening with me.....oh yeah, it would help if they looked really hott when mowing their lawn too!!

There's no such person as a "perfect" neighbour. The only "perfect" neighbour is when you create a robot and make it feel like us, then let it stay next door with the characteristics built in it. Other than that, neighbours are supposed to be for us to greet with a simple 'Hi', create conversations, helping each other when in need, with the exception of $$$ unless necessary, etc.
It takes 2 hands to clap to prevent unnecessary misunderstandings and it will also take one's character to really understand one another.

Blonde, 5'2" to 6'0", cute, hair shoulder to mid-back length, blue eyes preferred but not necessary, does not call me during the week, cleans my house by day, and on Friday nights I visit her and check her plumbing. We could even go the the casino together now and then.
I might even give her a Christmas Bonus.
She should be politically neutral or right.
Must not have a soccer ball bumper sticker. (Or similar.)
Likes venison, fresh garden veggies, and seafood, and willing to try foie gras or pate, drinks wine at least once in a while. Need not be well educated but must be sharp witted and intelligent notheless.
No druggies.

I have great neighbors now..my only complaint is their Lab using my yard for his "potty"..we throw it over in their yard but, it sure would be nice if they took care to look in our yard more than once a week...I've had good neighbors all my life..friendly, not imposing..take pride in their property, children well mannered,,pets the same for the most part...if they don't see you for a day or so coming and going, they phone to see if you're sick and if they can do anything....we get together once or twice a year for various reasons ( graduations, weddings, or just to have a potluck)...good people..

Imo, a perfect neighbor would be:
respect your right to privacy
respect your right to a peaceful surrounding [no loud dogs barking, no loud music blasting all hours of the day and night]
show respect towards you and vise versa
thankfully I live where my neighbors are like those I wish to live next to.

One who's quiet, doesn't peek at me through windows, one who won't borrow something more than once a month at the most *and returns what they borrow* someone who really just has fun mowing their neighbor's lawn and doesn't have a problem with their neighbor having alot of loud kids and/or friends around.

I love my closest neighbors ! They either have 4 legs or wings, their homes are small and nicely designed. I just wish the raccoons would not use the pool at mid-night. I live deep in a forest.

My ideal neighbor would keep their property as clean and neat looking as I keep mine. They would not have noisy, outdoor parties (after 10:00 pm), dogs and/or children to disturb the peace. They would obey the speed limit in our neighborhood and so would all of their visitors. And, when it's obvious I'm busy with something like trying to finish mowing the lawn before it got dark or if I got company, they would see I am preoccupied and not take it as an open invitation to come over and talk to me.

Make that neighbors. I would be content if the entire Swedish National Bikini Swimsuit and Skeet Shooting Team moved in next door. Hopefully, the baggage handlers would have lost their window curtains.
