No, parachutes tend to only work from enough distance and without any objects to impact near by... LOL, seriously!
Freight trains jumping tracks are used in such proverbial/poetic metaphors because they are reckless and unstoppable short of a terrible crash with many victims... Including innocent bystanders!
In short, being a force to be reckon with and coming at the world has no prerequisites of recklessness or innocent bystander casualties.
Do what you must, but pursuit it without hurting others that have nothing to do with it!!! Claim-less aimless words can hurt innocent bystanders as well as a sword or train...
Unfortunately, so many needless young suicides are guided somewhat by misunderstood or poorly explained words. Not that I would condemn any form of poetry/art..., but self restrain with reasoning doesn't hurt even in art. There is always an alternative to aimlessness... If one has a point one has a target as well! Without a target what is the point of all/any blah blah blah...(good or bad)?

folly needs a reserve chute and usually for gets to pull, making for a spectacular lawn dart.
only those things truly worth the commitment of your life and skill requires no chute, but I would wear one anyway, just to see if I can jump again.

Yes, because remember "What goes up, must come down." Since your shadow has to live in the real world, it is inevitable.

I admire your enthusiasm. Just in case though, it doesn't hurt to have a back-up plan. Enjoy!

That depends what you're coming at the world for....to improve it or to add to the chaos.
