I am. I like his record. He seems very consistant throughout his entire poltical career. He has not changed his views hardly at all to appeal to voters. I like this guy.

Who else does?

I'm impressed with his intelligence, common sense, and willingness to be honest about his views even though he knows that he cannot possibly get elected.

He is running to "speak truth to power" at great personal sacrifice of his time, money, energy, and health. I disagree with him on some issues -- particularly his opposition to legal abortion -- but I respect him because his answer is part of a "seamless garment of life" philosophy, which also opposes the death penalty and the absolute waste of military and civilian lives in this war.

Most of the so-called "pro-life" candidates are liars who have "flipped" their earlier public positions to try to get votes, AND hypocrites who support the ritual murder of criminals to try to get votes. There's no real respect for life in them -- and their willingness to kill to get elected tells me all I need to know about them. (Though I look forward to someone asking them, "are you willing to force pregnant women to deliver in handcuffs at gunpoint when abortion is illegal?" -- because that's what re-criminalizing abortion means.)

Kucinich is honest, and he's idealistic. His willingness to BE honest gives other Democratic candidates room to move left without being called extreme -- because Kucinich has the "extreme left" position extremely well-filled. :)

He also has the best position on insurance (opening up Medicare to anyone who wants in; Medicare is the most efficient, least-costly of all insurance programs in the nation), unlike Hillary Clinton, who has been in the pocket of the for-profit insurance industry since 1992.

Finally, he has the best position on the Iraq War, which is to get out now and not continue our monthly death toll while George Bush and the Iraqi elite are ON VACATION, or wastefully stretching out fake "negotiations" so Halliburton can continue to make a fortune on its no-bid contracts and oil barons like the Bush and Cheney families can continue to profit from our artificially-inflated gas prices .

I like Dennis Kuchinich. I think he is the best out of all the Democratic candidates. I just feel that people will vote on who they like the most. Not who will be the best. But you never know. And for all you people who thing their is a left wing conspiracy, have you been paying attention to what this administration is doing?

I like Kucinich very much, as a person. But I cant support him to be president. He is honest though, I'll give him that. He says what he thinks.

And hes a sweet guy, but hes also far too left-wing knee-jerk reactionary for my taste and he has no grasp whatsoever on the reality of things. He thinks his good intentions are enough to win, and sadly hes wrong.

As someone else (whos name I cant remember) put it, "Dennis is the ruler of a distant fantasy kingdom". And its true, he is. He thinks people will rally behind his ideas of a "Department of Peace" and reparations for slavery and all sorts of other far-left sillyness.

Overall Kucinich just isnt grounded in reality. I'm not usually one for discouraging candidates and their supporters, because I think anythings possible if you set your mind to it, but I cant honestly say that Dennis has a chance at winning the presidency. He just doesnt.

What he should be doing is focusing on moving the debate towards his issues (because he does have points that need to be made) and trying to alter the party platform rather than trying to be president. He wont make it, I'll guarantee that, but he could have a considerable effect on the party if he would focus on that.

And if he really does want to be president, he needs to stop holding back. Too often he tries to play it safe while still trying to make his good points and the result is that hes unconvincing and looks very nervous and unsure of himself.

If you like Kucinich, look into Mike Gravel's campaign. I'm sure youll like him as well, and I think Gravel has a much better chance than Kucinich ever will.

I like him a lot, and to those who talked about how disastrous his policies would be, have you been asleep since Jan 2001, or just not paying attention?
