It is because they are women. Any normal woman usually likes to be dominated by man. Only thing is they want this to happen only when they opt for it. Other times they want this menfolk to be calm and quiet. It is like a monkey's dance to the swing of the cane. But alas, physically and mostly mentally menfolk are sturdy and rough. They want it otherwise. Hence there is the never ending game. The men having had the taste of using force or coersion to get the womenfolk to their fold do not want to loosen their hold generations after generations. However, the secret of life is that the dominant role of male starts from courting itself. You may take the examples of animals, birds etc, where as observed the active role is taken by male. It is the same way in human race also. One is active and the other is passive but both enjoy the game. As explained above, both want it to happen to their own liking. Women can not remain calm and silent and be satisfied all the times if the men decide to be submissive ever. They need aggression and domination to satisfy the womenfolk in many walks of life including sex. It is the necessary ev il, if at all to compromise. O.K?

Hey, I've seen many couples where the woman definitely wears the pants.
I think it is just instinct, really. I think genetically men want to conquer and woman the opposite. I don't want to word "the opposite" because that would offend women and I don't want to do that! What does that tell you?

Perhaps what you mean is: 'why do women think men are controlling?' because I hear that one a lot. The reason there is tradition mostly, and the way both sexes are raised. Boys are tracked into sports and games of conquest while girls are shown to the doll house. This is all generalization though, because as I said I've seen dominating and controlling women all over the place.

And that point of yours is factually proven,there is solid evidence to prove that.
Men are getting the promotions in the work force and women have the same or higher qualifications and work input and yet they don't get anywhere.

Most men act that way. I don't mind it, as long as they're not beating on people and yelling all the time. I actually find it extremely attractive. My husband is pretty dominating, I like a man who acts like a man.
