Good Question with lots of answers.I would say it depends on the seriousness of the situation..for example. I got expelled from 12 grade 3 weeks before graduation..lemme give you the backstory real quick. My first Gf and I had been going together for over 8 months. We really loved each other, but came from two different social backgrounds. Me lower middle class. Her lower Upper Class and as an only child (both of us actually) I was always spending every dime I could possibly get on Her which was ok Beck was well worth it.However my Best friend in high school was also rich and had about 10 times the monetary resources I did.Long story short I found out through Her best friend that My Gf was seeing him behind my back soooo. I broke his jaw and got expelled over it. Make a guy crazy? Love hurts? You better believe it..sometimes

If I get rejected in any situation, for some reason, the Malcolm in the Middle comes up in my head, and I would do that soliloquey thing, talking to the invisible audience and making an awkward face. Does this sound little crazy? lol

I think it does a little. Since I met my last girlfriend, I've changed a whole lot. Maybe just because I was in love. After she dumped me I've done things I didn't think I was capable of. I've turned a way from a lot of people I was close to. Now I reject everyone. It's like I don't really care about anything that isn't her. I'd do anything to have her back.

I think rejection is just another thing we all have to learn to cope with. It is probably harder to deal with it if you really care about the person or are unaccustomed to being rejected. It just like dealing with jealousy and other emotions, after a while, people learn not to take things quite so personally, they over things more easily.

Some people handle rejection badly and feel that the person merely "misunderstood" things and so must be convinced of the error of their thinking

Only if the person has too big of an ego to accept the truth. Some people ride on their high horse and can't handle it when they get bucked off from time to time.

It depends how much the emotional man is... Rejection is the psychological murder by the rejector of the rejected one..
No one likes to be killed so mercilessly as rejected.. so one gets crazy of course...

It depends on the person if he/she is really in love with her/him, he/she can go extremes. But if it is just forthe sake of fun/flirting they may not get crazy and rejection lowers self-esteem is agreeable.

...I think rejection can make some people crazy....
...some people are really emotional....and react fast and strongly at many things....
...some guys and girls I have known are very defensive...and you just can't say anything that might in anyway be not only saying how great they are....
...once I had a friend....I thought she was my friend...and we could say anything to each other...and she wanted to know what some perfume she tried on smelled like...and when I told her it smelled like ...raid...the bug spray...she hated me ever since....
