1) Go into Yahoo Search with the name of the town as key.
2) Select the Wikipedia entry for that town.
3) The geographic co-ordinates appear in the top right hand corner of the Wikipedia entry.

That link in the first answer is little help. Go to Google Earth. Find the town on the globe and go in close. The coordinates will appear at the bottom left of the screen.

There are interactive maps on the internet which show the coordinates of the point of the cursor (I remember to have seen such maps). Or a big enough physical map (to a proper scale) will also have that information.

if you are living in this town you can use a mini gps to find the coordinates of it. maybe you can visit google earth. it has a coordinate system. or you can visit the cartography service of this town and ask for it.
