The biggest mistake I have ever made was putting foundation on my face. I thought I was covering pimples, but I ended up just getting more. My favorite products are tinted acne creams. They add coverage just like foundation, but won't clog your pores. Concealer are made with acne medication in it too. Your mom should have no problem with these products, because she is thinking medication and you are thinking coverage and it is a great compromise. How would you tell your mom that you want to wear mascara? Just tell her. Or ask her if you can use her mascara. A compliment would be a perfect way to bring it up. For example, "Mom, I am so lucky I got YOUR eyes. Don't you think some mascara would show them off?" If she says no, ask her why she feels that way. What I did at your age was get a job, so you can buy whatever you want with your own money.

Stay natural, and you can do this with makeup.
If you need a foundation, go for a lightweight one in your shade. Otherwise, a face powder may be all you need to eliminate shine. For the eyes, go for a clear mascara. Keep eyeliner minimal. Lip shades should be neutral and blend in with your skin tone, browns or pinks.
Just tell your Mom you want something that makes you feel a little more confident when you go out. Make up should enhance the beautiful features you already have, not cover them or be overpowering on your face.
Good Luck!

well start off by talking to your mom and being upfront about. Say that since you are entering a new grade you want to start wearing a little make-up. To make her feel more comfortable you can ask her for some help puttting it on (even if u already know how to). Also they have skin colored Clearisil which is way better for your skin then concealer. Concealer clogs your pores which makes you break out more.

Tell your mom you'd like to start wearing a little bit of makeup, just to try it out. Make sure she knows you're not talking heavy blue eyeshadow and bright red lipstick. Mention light concealer and mascara. Tell her it's barely noticeable, and it would make you happy. If she doesn't budge, ask at what age you'll be allowed to start wearing makeup.

i would ask if she could take you to pick up some makeup to try out...
i suggest going to icing at your local mall. they have great shades out right now.
you can get a palet of shimmery eyeshadow and a flat of bronzer to add shimmer to your skin.
they have mascara too.
go with a brn/blk shade- not as bold as straight blk but not as mellow as brn.
i think they sell concealer... or you can get some at walmart or kmart or target. get 1 that matches your skin tone. i like cover girl.
you might want to get a pressed translucent powder to take the shine off your face when you wear your concealer...
