Conservatives are called such because they don't act like a bunch of baboons every time something happens. Most of us sit quietly and wait for the elections. Libs always clam the elections are rigged if they don't win, they don't realize that the conservative/republican party is a sleeping giant that only awakes when necessary.

So true. Most Liberals have no class. Most conservative speakers on my campus are shouted down and not allowed to speak by the liberal brown shirts.

Some nut bag LIB speaks - never do you see a conservative shout him down.

Oh really? Ann Coulter? Michael Savage? Rush Limbaugh? Yeah you and your kind do act like that. For further proof look at Answers and how absolutely maniacal some of your kind act.
To compare the Republican party to a sleeping giant that only awakens when necessary is a ludicrous comparison. The GOP has been forcifully using whatever it has to including the extreme religious right to win elections for the last 40 years.

So very true, although after decades of liberal media, we do have commentators who are speaking out and the liberals absolutely hate it. Too bad. :)

As far as the conservative voters go, you are right. We're a sleeping giant who are wide awake. What happened in '06, will not be repeated because we simply can't afford to allow a bunch of Socialists into power.

We're alive, well, and ready to fight for this country. We will succeed!

God Bless America!

True for the most part. Yes there are those in talk radio who sensationalize the attacks on our freedoms and America's sovereignty to make money (a deplorable thing to be sure) but most Conservatives quietly work for a return to traditional values and a constitutional (limited) federal government.

You're kidding right? Republicans pray on peoples fear. They're the first to sling mud and think they have cornered the market on American values. All conservatives do is yell and scream. I think liberals are to easy going and don't fight back hard enough. And how are they a sleeping giant? As of 2008 they will have had the White House 28 out of 40 years

I am mostly liberal. I think it important to remember not to generalize about a vast group of people and assume that what a few say is a shared value by all liberals. Just because people do not share your belief, it does not make them wrong. The wild things you attribute to all Liberals mostly are not Liberal in nature, but special interest groups who are trying to influence both Conservatives and Liberals (in different ways)...Your average Liberal works, has a family, is part of the community, gives to charity, and tries to raise kids that will be educated and productive members of society...Being Liberal to me means that I am unwilling to judge another's lifestyle or the way he sees the world...unless his vision includes attacking others...I am seeing some Conservatives attack other's lifestyles, religion, and logic...not because they are hurting the Conservative, but because many Conservatives wants everyone to to conform to their vision of life. I would not attack a Conservative's values unless his values were a direct attack on others...and sometimes they are...

Mmmm....that sword cuts both ways Im afraid.

To whom are you referring to exaclty when you say "theyre louder?"

What comes to my mind are: Oreilly, Coulter, Hamnity, Limbaugh etc.....

Liberals dont usually partake in those types of infotainment outlets. You could counter with Rosie, and I would agree...but there are far more talking heads on the "right".

Moderates, like myself, tend to be rather even keeled and dont get riled up by much. Thats why we're moderate and independent!

They are counting on you being the "silent majority" and we have let them get to where they are because of it.

Now is the time to say "I am mad as ehll and I am not going to take it anymore". The mere fact that we are now challenging them makes them insane, or insaner.

The sleeping giant awakens in 08

Lets see how reckless their behavior is at the Republican Convention in Minneapolis. They always demonstrate their lack of control, ethics and morals by rioting and burning flags.

Do people like you realize that the people who pay higher health care expenses because of people who can't pay their medical bills are the majority??
you know, since health care providers do increase the costs of people who can pay, to recoup the losses incurred by people who can't??
