Lets say there was a man who was righteious and there was another man unrightious and the righteous man condemned the unrighteous man cause he wasn't righteous enough isn't that self righteous act but a truely righteous man wouldn't condem a unrighteous man for not being righteous but instead say i am no better then you.

If any of those (righteous, unrighteous.. from now on to referred to as R and U) conditions were based in any type of solid preconceived and generally accepted way, then R would punish U. Not just because U is U, but because what makes one U are their actions. Punishment must be applicable only based on the U action not the U status. Therefore, to be punished the U must have done something that was understood to be a U action. Under such conditions not to punish U would be U as well.
Forgiveness is only appropriate when U status is reversible to R and the U action was not a severe U action under previously determinable conditions. Or if the action was not U at all due to the lack of true U intentions...(as in a sincere mistake)!

PS: Self righteousness is a state/condition when one makes the assumption to be righteous under ones own concept of what is righteous. Just to begin with...! So it would not participate in your question. And the question itself would not be valid without more specific definitions and conditions...

True. But then, if a righteous man were no better than an unrighteous man, does righteous even exist?
That word is used mostly today by those who believe they are better than anyone else.

The answer depends on where the righteousness or unrighteousness comes from. If it is self appointed then it is self righteousness. If it is someone who refuses to be righteous then it is unrighteousness. If it is bestowed by an outside force then it is righteousness.

Righteousness mean that you are in right standing.
