I took my 94-Camry for state inspection; they have asked to change '4" Flex Pipe'.

I am looking for mechanics who do these kind of works. Big Auto repair shops are asking hell lot of money to do this (Man, $700+ is not a small money to spend on 94 model car). I really do not want to shell out that much on my old car.

Any help/info??

Thank you.

I will suggest that you take your vehicle to Canterbury Texaco, located on Patterson Avenue by Pump Road. 740-9766. They are a small gas station that focuses on automotive work. The station as been in business for around 40 years and the original owner will still come in to do automotive work. If they can not perform the work, they will suggest someone who can.

Call them and see if they can give you a quote on the job. I had to take my fiance's car over there two weeks ago to install a new water pump. They quoted me $250, but they only charged me $160 because the work came in under budget. (Better than the Mastercare station.) They are honest like that, and they get a lot of repeat business because of that. They do not advertise, it is all word of mouth.

When you call, let them know that you were referred to them by a satisfied costumer. Good luck!
