You left it very late.
With you half the students of the Rotterdam university and colleges are looking for a place to live. And they have started doing so months ago.
I hope you talk about 300 Euros a week, because for 300 a month you will not get anything clean enough to live in.
Contact the tourist information office for short-term housing.
There are a lot of sites helping students with finding housing, you can best use your search engine to find them. There are also a few English language sites where you can try.
If all else fail, put a message on marktplaats.nl, like e-bay but free.
If you get an offer from a place that is half an hour out of town, grab it, as it is likely to be the best offer you get.

i does not hardship, save your funds, for what it is going to fee you for one week in London, you would be better off staying in a mattress and breakfast, or a trip in, that kind of place, good success.
