Hey, you don't actually expect anything democratic from this fool. He is in the pay of Brussels and will do exactly what they say. If we do have a referendum and do not leave the EU totally then in a few years time Brussels will say, well you got the answer wrong last time try again. These b--tards lead by the N-zi German leader are in the business of taking over England if not the UK, remember that it was BMW that asset stripped Rover and closed it down and the out steel industry has been decimated by the continentals. Democracy the EU doesn't believe in it and are out to become the biggest dictatorship in the world.

The best way for Gordon Brown to restore trust to the British people would be to stop telling lies and honour the pledges He and his party have made to give us a referendum.
G Brown is definitely evading a democratic debate in a totally undemocratic way. NO WAYcan this issue so crucial to our collective future, be properly debated in such a short time
The whole thing should be thrown wide open for debate, and a plain English version of the constitution/ treaty should be made available to the British people so that we all know what we are getting into.
Then WE the public should have a vote!
I think pigs will fly before that happens.

Gord is trying his best to appeal to people. Nothing he says or does is going to change the decision of the EU treaty. I was at the European Par lament some years ago. I sat listening to a conference on the EU treaty it has no jurisdiction at all over
NATO that I can tell you. But also while I was there they said that The British Government would not have a say in anything all the British MIPS can do is report back to Europe on certain major decisions other than that they intend to disband Parliament in Britain, but let Gord go the meeting it will make him feel better and he will get a few free drinks. If Gord pulls it orf I will eat my hat.

Yep its because no one cares and most dont even know what the treaty is or even heard of it , our society has been designed in such a way that most are asleep , vaccinations ,eating bad food while zombieing out in front of the programming machine being told how life should be , also watching or reading murdoch controled and owned media . the people do literally have the power to stop the new world order , be it a cliche but we do have the power . but how long and at what cost will it take for the people to stand up and be counted .

Have you read both? If so, then you can say that the treaty and the consitution are the same. If not, then what you are talking about is hearsay.
After reading a lot about it, the impression I get is that the people telling lies are those who are against the treaty. (Though I will admit to not reading either the treaty or the consitution themselves.)
We live in a parliamentary democracy. This means that like it or not, we, the british electorate elected a representative to serve in the house of parliament. This representative will vote based on the views they have. It is up to us to elect someone who we feels has most in common with our views. The translation of the treaty is available to our MP's to read, if they so choose.
Even if Parliament does accept the treaty, with the opt outs that we have, WE CAN ALWAYS LEAVE again come the next general election. That is if the electorate want that to be the case and vote for representatives that wish to take us out of the EU, or withdraw from the treaty.

I believe Gordon Brown had good intentions, and wants to do just that. But did you notice in the run up to him becoming PM how all the slimy Pro-Euro camp tried to organise themselves & put up a candidate, then all of a sudden they pull out when the almighty TONY signs us up..?.
Now I'm no Thatcher fan, but look what happen to her. By the time she realized what Brussels was up to it was to late, her cabernet was fun of the slimy quislings of the EU.
To appease the Euro scum it seems to me he's had to put one or to in his cabernet. As for your questions, YES totally undemocratic, & NO WAY can a thing like this be debated in just 7 to 8 days.
GIVE US THE VOTE...!...and don't let the quislings get the better of you.
If he signs on the 18-19 of Oct, isn't it a bit late for a protest on the 27 of Oct..? see link.
