Austin CC is the only accredited school in the city of Austin. Check here: http://jrcert.org/cert/Search.jsp or http://arrt.org/index.html?content=http://www.arrt.org/nd/listOfSchools.ndm/listSchools&iframe=yes to find other accredited schools near you. Do not go to a school that isn't accredited. Also, if you can't decide which school to choose, find out each school's registry pass rate (my school's rate was 100% first time). If the school has a low pass rate, that says a lot about the quality of the education you would receive there.

You will take things like anatomy and physiology, physics, radiation protection, pathology, positioning, ethics, terminology, etc.

go to each school, and get a brochure and talk to counselors to find out. i am not sure what classes you need to take... good luck!
