..."magician" of all times! BUT, what about "Slick" Willie & "Tricky" Dick? Plus, "Jimmy" da Carter & LBJ??? GWB will be always remembered for his patriot act & the "tubeing" of our constitution, but "Jimmy" Da Carter had many searching "Fast Food" garbage cans as the hot ticket to financial survival!!! Paranoid Nixon had nine out of ten Americans listed by the FBI as commie conspiritors & the rest indicted as commies. Slick Willie brought us WALLY WORLD & a nuclear red army with his sharing of top military secrets with China! LBJ brought us the "war on poverty" & it's famous social programs that are bankrupting us more than ever today!!! We've been fortunate as Americans to have had such wonderfully talented "magicians" as presidents during the last 45 years or so! Today, we have a choice between two highly rated "magicians" to keep the "show" in motion! Which one will it be...Rudy "Little Mussolini" Giuliani, or Hillary "Camrade" Clinton???

I believe George Bush has been the most effective vandal since Abraham Lincoln to hold the Presidency. He moved quickly to replace the greatest surplus in our history with the greatest deficit. He has successfully convinced most Democrats and Republicans that we, -- at great cost in lives and money, -- are somehow required to give an unwilling Iraq, a free, humane society. As we occupy Iraq with the bulk of our armed forces, even sending sailors into army units, Mexico has invaded us with many millions of occupiers who threaten to people us into being a third world economy. We are now the third most populated country in the world with people from everywhere trying to push their way in.
With the Patriot Act well entrenched, look for Rudy or Hilary to come with a Janet Reno type Attorney General and another series of military size attacks on Americans with unpopular views.
Can anything be done about this mess. YES! We have the power to vote for whoever we wish. We don't have to vote for the varying degrees of evil presented by the Democrats and Republicans. If Americans would simply vote for people with integrity, real progress can be made. If we continue to vote as we have, then look for the end of our affluent lifestyle. We will become like the old Soviet Union, a great military power with a third world economy.

The fact is that all presidents can be attributed to both good and bad things. Even Clinton and Bush have done both good and bad things. Both, for example, did great with the economy, but Clinton did a terrible job on terrorism and Bush has failed internationally.
One thing about Bush, though ... if Iraq and Afghanistan do manage to form some sort of stable representative governments in the next 10-20 years, history will treat Bush kindly. If not, he will rank in the bottom half of all Presidents.

I saw a great author on Cspan2 the other day talking about the different influences on the new deal, and the impact of Roosevelt's programs on the recovery from the great depression. I can't wait to get the book, wish I could remember where I wrote down that title!
I think it's important to be as informed as possible about how our society works. Reason magazine is a good one if anyone hasn't heard of it before.

Please Bobo, do not use these men's names in the same paragraph.
George works according to basic beliefs. He adheres to them, and does not waiver.
The Clintons work according to current polls.
Jimmy Carter works under dictates of Joseph Stalin and Karl Marx.
I'll vote for whoever taxes me less, protects the boarders and enforces the Bill of Rights.

All presidents have flaws, it's the balance of the picture that is important. In the case of GWBush he is just a disaster. The see-saw is on the ground and not budging.
Hillary Clinton will clean up his mess just like her husband cleaned up the fathers.
