As near as I can tell, all of the top republican canditdates are fairly close to the worn out, incompetent and pie in the sky politics of the Bush Junta. Do most real republicans really want to continue the BushWar for Oil in Iraq, continue to enrich the health insurance industry by not insuring 43 or however many millions Americans, continue attempts to gut Social Security and degrade environmental regulations in favor of industry? Do republicans really want to continue to borrow billions of dollars from China to fund Bush's war, continue cutting taxes for corporations and gathering more and more power to the executive branch?

You're asking republicans who voted for bush twice, if they're going to vote for another idiot. Of course they will.

No most Republicans don't believe tucking tail and running away to leave millions to be slaughtered like after Vietnam is a responsible way to be. Most also don't believe the slaughter of 50 Million babies is responsible when there is a seven year waiting list to adopt. Most don't believe that free health care is a responsible way to act when it has been proven in every other country that the rich still see private doctors and everyone else is left to wait in line to see the ones too unskilled to go private. Republican's want responsible leaders not plastic morons spouting Utopian pipe dreams designed to enchant the ignorant.

When did you wake up dude? America has been borrowing money from China long before the Iraq Conflict. It's to early in the race for candidates to be making concrete statements before the election. American sentiment about things changes to often to have any idea what the public wants to hear about a year from now. Let's wait until the front runners are decided before we worry about who feels a certain way about anything. I am sure we (I) will get tired of hearing them soon enough.

The Republicans I know are more mainstream and have often expressed their distaste for Bush and his Administration. Some voted for him because of party affiliation. They learned their lesson. Those folks are generally in favor of Democrats this time around. They want GOP in other offices but we can't win them all.

Bush, his Neocons, and the obscenely wealthy Oligarchs, who finance Republicans and Democrats alike, embody the face of America which is seldom portrayed by our flag-waving mainstream media . Yes, there is a dark, brutish aspect to this self-proclaimed beacon of freedom and liberty, and I am going to delve into it.

American leadership is still drunk with power, arrogance, and an insatiable appetite for the accumulation of wealth. Based on a statement of principles drafted in 1997, and a think-tank created to formulate ways to implement the principles, The Project for the New American Century paved the way for George Bush and his pack of Neocons to launch the unprovoked and unsubstantiated invasion of Iraq . Several of the war hungry Neocons, like Paul Wolfowitz, Donald Rumsfeld, and Dick Cheney, signed the statement of principles. The events of 9/11 gave them the rationale they needed to initiate their aggression. Their imperial intentions are clearly outlined at http://www.newamericancentury.org/statementofprinciples.htm. Their concluding paragraph states:

"Such a Reaganite policy of military strength and moral clarity may not be fashionable today. But it is necessary if the United States is to build on the successes of this past century and to ensure our security and our greatness in the next."

What is perhaps equally disturbing is that a vast majority of the Democrats have made little tangible effort to challenge the illegal actions of Bush and the Neocons, making them complicit partners. Short of a few exceptions, like Bill Moyers, the mainstream media has forsaken their duty as the Fourth Estate. Rather than informing the American people of the truth about our corrupt and malevolent government, they bow to the pressure of their corporate masters and feed us versions of the truth that withhold details and present criminal act by our government in a benign manner. A British Member of Parliament recently showed the guts to openly challenge several of our venal Senators Whttp://www.commondreams.org/views05/0517-35.htm when will our own elected representatives and members of the press show that kind of spine? Perchance most of them have simply sold out and become party to the "Dark Side" of our national identity.

The Bush administration has demonstrated its commitment to making the Twenty First Century the "American Century". However, the reality is that the invasion of a small country like Iraq has stretched our military to its limits. After two years of US military occupation, Iraq is still in a state of chaos, and many Iraqis want our military to withdraw. The sun is setting on the "American Empire" as Bush and his people desperately struggle to fan the dying embers and rekindle the flames. There are multiple countries with nuclear capabilities. China wields a great deal of economic power over the United States as it continues to parlay its colossal trade surplus into an opportunity to finance a large portion of the US debt. Terrorist acts, over-dependence on credit, and weaker nations with nuclear capabilities are proving to be the David to our Goliath. Redefining the term "debtor nation" with a $7.5 trillion national debt, America is bleeding red ink. The failing effort in Iraq is costing billions of dollars that this country does not have. America 's dominance is rapidly diminishing.

Bush has launched a war with no end in sight against the "evil terrorists", an elusive, shadow target which cannot be definitively beaten. Perpetual fear and hatred of the "terrorists" motivate many Americans to support a seemingly endless war, and enable Karl Rove to manipulate the masses. The Neocons are free to pursue their policy of military proliferation of American interests to their hearts' content. However, the waning strength of this nation, coupled with the rising strength of nations like China , make this model unsustainable. Americans have been duped into following a ruinous course.

would you please tell us the difference in The Rep,and Dem party's , they are both owned and controlled by Israel and Aipac, and our new's media will always print what Aipac tells them to print, which means it won't make a dimes worth of difference in which party is elected, our forefathers warned us about organized political party's , yet we have fell into this trap, so now what do we do , it is doubtful if we will ever have a independent politician elected , and it will be the same old same old throughout, our people are to lazy and uncaring to get involved and elect some one who is not controlled by their party who is controlled by the Zionist,

It sounds like you have bigger issues than with the candidates. I suggest you look to move to Cuba or Venezuela where it's warmer
