I love them, but I hate when they're at night. I have a tendency to get freaked out because I think the trees in the backyard are gonna split and fall ontop of my bedroom.

My b/f, he loves the sound of raindrops, the thunder! When I was a kid, loved it, got to play dodge ball indoors at scholl! BIG GRIN..
If a thunderstorm with a heavy rainfall, along with a loud thunder rumbles and shakes my bed during the night, I am gonna be freakin nervous especially being on the top floor, what's gonna happen to the roof and should a power outage happen...YIKES! Time to think like a camper, "how to survive darkness"....

I love thunderstorms. They're the best of all the storms. I like them even better at night. For some reason they comfort me.

We have thunderstorms here maybe once every 2 or 3 years. When they happen they usually happen at night. I get up just to watch them. I love watching the lightening. I wish we had them more often :-(

Thunderstorms are great!! I enjoy watching the lightening that arcs across the sky.

I used to find them entertaining when young. I'd put a chair up to the window with a pillow and blanket, open the window wide and just watch, listen, and smell the air. Loved it.

i love thunderstorms anytime......i love the smell right before, its a clean, fresh smell, i love it and i love the calm before the storm were the wind whips around you, but its a playful, peaceful wind and you know all hell is about to break lose......i love them especially at night because you can watch the lightning dance from cloud to cloud before ever touching the earth.....

I love them, the best one i ever saw was on holiday in Tunisia. There was a storm out at sea and our hotel window looked straight out onto it. Brilliant!
