Recently I came across a company on the internet that claims to pay surfers money simply for surfing the net ! Does anyone have any experience of this company and if so please what is it all about ? Is it a scam ? Spyware ? How does it work ? HOW MUCH do they pay if they are genuine, etc etc The pros and cons, thank you. I will mention the company written back to front so people don't think this is a scam ( ocolgA ). Thank you for any advice. They don't ask for any money but give you a toolbar that apparently counts the hours you are on the net. It is probably garbage anyway but I am still curious. Thank you again

I've never personaly tried it, but have tried many companies over the years like it and lost a lot of time doing it. If you search your keyword you will find a lot of questions that have come up about this company I'm sure. I work at home and found that I don't have to put in several hours a day on a company to receive monthly pay. If you like to surf and spend a lot of your time on the computer, then this may be for you. I'd check it out thoroughly though since so many people have had a lot of the same comment to this question and ones similar. Good Luck! Jennifer

its either a marketing company or a complete scam! companies want their company found on the web, so they might want to monitor the main 'search' words a person would use when trying to find a product or service, then they can then link this to their website, or make their website the first one listed from a search engine like Google or yahoo!
I would have no idea how much they'd pay.

Many 3rd world countries have virtually free Internet access .. and in these countries you can employ shed loads of kids at 50p a day to operate computers on the net (this is why both personalised SPAM and 419 Scams are so easy to implement).
SO, IF it was possible to 'earn' more than 50p a day 'browsing', WHY don't they focus on this instead of sending millions of SPAM eMails ???

beilieve it or not, sites like these are ususally not scamming you, if you get spyware its not intentionally from that stie, its from the site you get to by surfing. there could be multiple reasons. first of all it increases traffic to there site, and advertisers pay them much more for higher traffic. a second thing is that if its a surfing engine and not a serach enigine (that means you click surf, you see a site, u check it out, you click surf again and go to other sites and so on), for a surfing engine people pay for being the first site they might get to when clikcing surf, or bumping themselves up on the list. also if they dont offer cash, if they just offer points from which you can buy things, those things are somewhat like sponcers too since they want to spread their products and will use any way of sale, and if its a cash in, then the bank is probally a sponcer since you might need to make a bank account in that bank to cash in. so again, its not the concept of a free lunch at all, they are buying traffic, and you are selling your time

Ive been hooked into this myself and found out realy early that this type of practice is always a scam...
in most cases they want you to buy cheap services to earn money.
My advice. Stay away and save your time and money.

That's a new kind of DDOS net-bot network, they give you these tool bars and your computers get infected by virus which then makes your computer a zombie, they might even pay you for having that thing and surf the net with it, but they will steal your bandwidth and sell your connection to spammers which will then use it to do whatever they please

pros:
1) It probably is free, for real.
Cons:
1) It is a small amount of money.
2) In all liklihood, it involves spyware.
