Yes... it is always better to take decisions than no decision at all! One who idles life... is not worth the human form! Human life was not meant for satisfying wanton desires and greed for materialistic riches! There is something beyond the ephemeral world that needs introspection. The power of discrimination available to human beings makes it easier to make decisions.

Most human beings world over never take a decision! Their life is like a rudderless boat going round and round in the ocean. Why leave things to chance! One can manifest destiny by taking timely decisions and pursuing the goal of life dear to our heart. Apart from decision making... hard work, patience, persistence and perseverance makes or mar a man!

Taking decisions in life is the sole prerogative of every individual human being. Our parents, teachers, friends and relatives only give their advice. To follow or not to follow is our sole prerogative! All is the result of a karma that cannot err! As per the doctrine of karma... whatever we sow so shall we reap... nothing less or more!

Those who take timely decisions get ahead in life! Every single successful entrepreneur develops a habit of taking timely decisions! The line between success and failure is very thin... Why remain dependent on fate and circumstances in life! Taking timely decisions spells success... noncompliance conceptualizes failure!

Success is primarily taking right decisions at the right time! When taking decisions... it need not always mean our being right... some decisions can always be wrong and discarded outright! Wrong decisions must never come in way of our decision making! Right or wrong... decision must always be taken timely!

Only by errors and omissions one proceeds in the journey of life. It is not happiness that we always experience... everyone has ones quota of pitfalls and failures! Success and failure... both are part of life! Life is not a destination... it is the journey itself! We learn by experience... right or wrong! None can stop us from taking right decisions at the right opportunity!

Actually I would say the decision to make a decision would depend on the subject of the decision .
For instance, if a person were standing on a roof top and the bad decision would be to jump off, I would say no decision would be the better decision.

Making "NO decision, is in fact "making a decision"-

I think that if one decides not to make a decision- it is, in and of it's self-A decision. However the decision maker may be trying to avoid responsibility for the out come or identifying with the positive or negative results.

It would be preferable to "streatch the rubber band a bit" and really test your decsion making powers, take accountabilty-the good, the bad and the ugly of it all and be an active particapant in your own life rather than to take a passive role!

Good luck!

I had a boss who once said that not making a decision IS making a decision...it's choosing not to decide! I think making a bad decision is better because at least you were proactive and you didn't just wait for things to happen.

I suppose it depends just how bad that bad decision is. But if you're talking day-to-day decisions, then I would say making a bad decision is far better than being indecisive and wondering what could have happened if you had made that decision.

when u r making a decision u r unaware of the consequences that will derive from it,so its better to take a risk n take a decision rather than not doing anything abt it. if u r aware of the consequences n u know its a bad decision then i think there should be no second thought about taking that into stride.

By choosing to make no decision you are implicitly making a decision. And the decision to make no decision could be the worst available option. Just don't delude yourself into thinking you aren't choosing a course of action by choosing a path of inaction.

Yes. Because making no decisions at all implies not making good decisions either.

Wrong...! Making no decision is a bad decision!!! Making a deliberately bad decision over silly interests is far worse!!! We have had so much of that in the US in the last few years!!!

If you have a choice between doing A or B, and you can't decide, then sometimes it's a good idea to wait and make the decision after you have had time to think, or after more information has been made known to you.
If you have a choice between doing A or B or doing nothing, sometimes it's better to do nothing. (This is a version of a Jewish proverb.)
