Have had some dreams that were a little scary, but I had several dreams again and again......Till, I started sleepin' with a pen & pad beside the bed.(Because after I wake-up start losing details) Any how, I've had to try to wake-myself to write things down. To me thats a battle in its self,
then 70% of the time go back to sleep and continue with the same dream. After awhile and talking to others I think the dreams were dealing with my own "Mortality"? Maybe,
who knows its for the most part just educated guesses anyway.....Glad I don't have the type nightmare you are describing.

You are describing last night...it was anxiety not scary. I woke up at 1am...fell asleep after 3am, woke up from it again at 4, fell asleep and woke up from it again at 6...I stayed up that time...that dream wouldn't go away is just continued.
Is there any coffee in the house?

Yes, I did have a nightmare like that. I learned later though, how to control my dreams, so now it doesn't bother me when I have a bad dream. I'm able to either wake myself up, or even change the dream to something positive. Kinda cool actually :-)

Yes I've had a couple. I had one where coyotes lived in my basement and came into my room and tried to eat me and I was trapped on my bed. I couldn't sleep plus I had trouble going into my basement for months.
