Been there done that! I found that doing stuff that gives me an adrenalin rush kicks me out of my blue funk. Notice: It costs to do some of these things. Jet skiing is great! I am now thinking about taking a course in open water diving. It's cheap ($300) and takes up about 3 days of boredom! Plus now you can go at any time and dive for $7 of air! Of course the equipment costs $1200 but the overtime that you spend making up this amount keeps your mind off your depression!

Everyone gets the blues, and people get sad now and then. If its more frequent then that you should try to figure the reason, because no one needs to live in sadness,
Physically it could be anything from just being tired from not enough sleep (and don;t underestimate this - have you seen how kids get grumpy and cry when they haven't slept enough - they are just little versions of us!), to blood sugar issues, to chemical problems requiring medicines. Look for patterns around eating, other physical pains, things on your mind that are weighing on you, and if you can't figure it out yourself, get help from friends or a doctor.

Most of the time its our crazy women hormones. Maybe something is missing in your life, go out and try different groups and hobbies.if nothing works maybe you should go see a doctor, it could be depression and thats a very big problem. I hope you feel better.

If you are overly depressed, you may need to seek counseling. Even the richest, healthiest, smartest people in the world get depressed for no reason.... it may be a chemical imbalance or something.

Sometimes depression just exists and it sucks. I have been through some really low times in my life with depression.
It this keeps up, maybe see a psychologist?
