WHO do you talk to? friend? spouce? boss? TEACHER? PASTOR? rabbi?

My therapist. The only person I have ever found that actually listens. Seriously. All my friends don't listen. My family either doesn't listen or they gossip. And most other people like to judge. Which just pisses me off.
Of course, my therapist better listen...She's gettin paid big bucks to! ;-)

oh hell yes, trying to talk to my family is pointless, i just don't bother anymore. i've just had a hliday, phoned 1 aunt on the first day and have been depressed the most of it...
found out 1 aunt and 1 uncle have been really ill in hospital, another uncle is now confined to a wheelchair, my sister has depression, my dad has had Ecoli and my other uncle has cancer.
so yeah...I hate talking to my family.
I used to be able to talk to my mum but she died like 4 years ago, if I need to talk to some one now, I phone my best friend in the whole wide world, she rocks. my spouse is aboput as emotional supportive as a watery jelly...
god my life is depressing, i'm gonna go jump off a bridge...joking peep's...

I can only talk to my family in spirit. Both of my parents died 2 years ago. I talk to my "wise friends" when I really need to talk to someone. I know a couple who are Buddhists and they are just about the most holy people I know. I'm glad I do know them because they are always there for me.

NO i find myself almost never able to talk to my family. I talk to myself mostly. But i chat with my frends about the problems of mine they can comprehend and i ask a few questions on here but usually nothing ever personal.

When I was a teenager, there was no way I was going to talk to my parents about anything - I'd talk to my friends. Now that I'm grown and much older, my parents and I are pretty good friends and we talk about everything...well, there are still things that I don't talk to my dad about but I can talk to my mom about everything!
My brothers and I are very close and we can talk about anything and everything.

Most of our relatives I cannot talk to. They are dominated by greed and hatred for one another. I only talk to my wife and kids.
