what is better for taking wickets and for giving a lower economy.

there both good but offspin gives the better economy whereas a leg spin will take a bucket full of wickets casue of slips. but legspin and offspin can be the same if you bowl the doosra or googly therefore they are both good.

Better economy- Off spin.
Since the ball usually comes in from off difficult to get away.
Wicket taking - Leg spin.
Since the ball that turns from leg to off has better chances of a catch in the slips.Even an off spinner gets wicket from a Doosra which is a leg spinner.

I think it is leg spin coz it spins and there is alwayz a chance of a catch in the slip quardon so i guess leg spin and if u ball in the proper areas with leg spin u r ofcourse econmical thts why leg spin.Plezzzzz vote as best answer if u feel sooooo!!!!!!

both have the same qualities, leg spin being better for left handers and off for right, off spin gives a better economy though - hope that solved your question :)
