I think that the perfect job for a person utilizes his or her talents, provides the person with a feeling of accomplishment, helps other people, pays well, can be done in forty hours per week, and is not stressful. Please let me know if you find that job.

The "perfect job" is doing something that you love so much, it doesn't feel like a job.

The perfect job for me would have been being a cop, but a serious back injury prevented that.
I settled for being a private investigator. That career choice turned out to be a lot more rewarding than being a cop ever would have been. I had the freedom to do a lot of things that the cops weren't allowed to do.

What made this the perfect job for me was the fact that I loved it so much, it didn't feel like a job. The reason I loved it so much was because I had been victimized as a child. Therefore, when I grew up, it was incredibly healing to bust people who were victimizing children.

As for the "perfect job" for you. . . . you just have to figure out what your interests are and go from there. Ask yourself what it is that you would love to do and be paid for it. The perfect job for you, might not be the perfect job for someone else.
You might need more education to land that "perfect job" though. I hope you're willing to do whatever it takes.

good luck in your search.

I just figured out what your name on your avatar says. Wow! My husband is a Dale Earnhardt fan too! Maybe you would love to be a race car driver, or be on the pit crew! That would be awesome for you. I'll bet you would love that!

I had a 'perfect job' once and I often wish I still had it.
My ex and I did a lot of traveling (he just wasn't happy living in one place very long) and somehow we ended up in Reno NV.
I noticed an ad in the paper for a position of Accountant 1.
I applied, received an interview and got the position. What they had me doing had nothing to do with 'accounting'.
I worked in a Job Corp facility (in a small town just north of Reno) giving students GED tests 8 hours a day. The most rewarding part about it was the look on the faces of students when they passed each part of the test. One boy, from somewhere in Central America, jumped up and down (like he had springs on his feet)/shouted with glee - ran up and hugged me.
One day, one of the teachers called me to tell me about a young lady who would be taking one of the tests in the afternoon. I guess the girl went home (for the weekend) and her mother treated her like dirt - so the girl was really depressed. I saw the girl come into the room, gave her the test she needed and she found a place to sit. After the testing began I noticed she was not doing anything so I quietly approached her, whispered to her "if you're having a problem with this - why don't you sit with me at the desk and we can talk?" She said "ok". After the other students finished and left - we sat there and talked for quite some time. She did most of the talking and I just listened. I did find out our birthdays were on the same day of the same month and she was extactic about that. When she finally left - her mood was extremely happy and she looked like she was floating on air as she walked. I just sat there and smiled and thought to myself 'she just needed someone to listen'.
Once a month, the facility had a graduation; those who completed their GED's, those who earned a high school diploma and those who completed a trade. After the graduation, the same girl ran up to me, gave me a hug and said "if it wasn't for you - I would not have passed the tests!"
I replied "you are the one who passed the tests. You just needed someone to listen".

It all depends on the person. What do you like to do? What would you do all day if you could? That would be "the perfect job." However, there is a reason why there are different words for "work" and "fun."

The perfect job would be one that fulfills the needs of a particular individual, and would therefore be different for each person. The job would fill all the needs of accomplishment, recognition, self-actualization, and so on, for that person.

'between 75 to 80 percent' of people are dissatisfied with their job!

from the report AND from the people around me, i am going to interpret that 'dissatisfied' really means HATE!

i see the public and the biggest thing i hear is 'i hate my job'!

why? why do you hate your job? if you hate it so much, why dont you quit and find another job that you like? why dont you do what you love to do because if you love what you do, getting paid is a happy side benefit.

i know so many people who would be considered very well paid, yet still hate their job! so, a perfect job is not just about money...again, it is about what you love to do.

thus, ask the question to yourself. what do you love to do?

this is where most people get tripped up because of so many hang-ups they have. 99.9999999% of the people (here in the usa anyway) is lost. they have no idea what they want. they have no idea who they are. they have no idea where they are going.

this translates to one thing 'if you dont know what you want...that's what you're going to get...NOTHING!

so many guys in their teens are so desperate to get their d!cks into a girl's pus$y and blow his load in there that they have no idea on how that having a kid at such a young age will RUIN their life and the girl's, basically, forever.

i dont have time to get into that...but, having a kid when you're still a kid just f-u-cks your life up.

another reason? you never prepared yourself early in life for you to be able to have the perfect job. i ask a lot of kids 'what do you want to be in life?' they say 'RICH'...i then ask them 'how are you going to be rich?' they say? 'i dont know' ahhh, see how incredible i am? i basically consider myself to be as near perfect as a human can possibly be because...i am that great!

25'somethings flipping burgers or managing a 7/11 will never find their 'perfect job' because they have no skills! you need to have a unique skill you have learned and developed in order to offer people something contributory. if you dont, put on your paper hat, flip that burger and serve me my fries.

i love pushing peoples buttons because it gets them all riled up. some see as rude but it's because they have so many insecurity issues that it reflects something painful in THEIR life. they are offended by me because they allow it to affect them. in truth...i didnt offend them, they offended themselves!

btw: i charge $300 per half hour as a 'life coach' (stupid trendy term right now...i like to call myself as the friend who gives an honest opinion). i am not encouraging, slapping you on the back, giving you high fives for small sh!t that a monkey can accomplish. i give knife biting down to earth stripped down advice. i am always fully booked and i give this away for free here!

The perfect job is that which you would do for free if you did not need the money.

No job is perfect. But there is a job that is perfect for you... if that makes sense. You make the job, the job doesn't make you. It is what it is, you just have to step up to it.

Like for me the perfect job is a social worker, but for many it wouldn't be. I see that as my ideal.

The answer really depends on you...
The perfect job for you would be a job you just LOVE going to everyday. Something you like doing, that makes you happy, and is rewarding to you. I think even if it isnt a really well paying job, if you love doing it, its worth it.
