it works ok i just want to set up a few things on it but cant find a manufacturers website and ive been at it for hours now "stress!!!!" if anyone can find the settings for front usb or the manual or anything that will be brill

usb is deffo supported its on the board but im not a pro with jumpers so i dont wanna be messing around with the wires in case i blow something (im clumsy as well ) tried everything all i know is the board number thingy and its by syntax or something like it but apparently its discontinued looks like its a dead end here :( is it safe to piddle about with the jumper wire thingys for usb?

in fact is it even worth trying to get it working is this board poo! lol it seamed ok but im no expert on it i got it cheep from the computer fair lol shows me dosent it lol

theres 8 little jumper wire thingys 2 of each colour im stuck on this bit there not labled (my fault )

its a syntax motherboard

are usb connectors one block or 8 single ones (red green black yellow)

I think the SV266a is the chipset, the KT266A, by VIA. The motherboard could be anything, but if you have a look in the BIOS, it might give you a clue as to what the manuacturer is and whether USB is supported (I think it is btw).

If its all up and running try downloading a program called
Driverscan. it will tell you what drivers are needed
