I hope he will. Verbal abuse is against the law.

I have been saying for a week now that he should be taken off because of his abuse. CBS would not endorse physical abuse but they are endorsing verbal abuse. I don't think that they should allow it to continue. What bothers me is that the house guest don't stand together against him and the only reason I can figure why they don't is because BB has told them to just shut their mouth. That is a guess on my part, but how rare is it that everyone just does not say a word during his rants ... All of them. A good plan would be to get BIG buckets of water and attack him with the water in the middle of the night. ALWAYS have a glass of water and anytime he starts into his rants, just douse him with water.

I think he is out of control but my husband thinks it is game play. I disagree totally because of what his daughter said about how scared they were as kids and they would hide in the closet. That is a pattern, NOT GAME PLAY.

It is bad enough that he does it to the guys but when he starts in on the women I just see a bully that is agressive and that is not something that CBS should allow. Period.

I read people's comments about how they signed a release and what he does is fine. Well then you must be okay if he hits a woman ... right, because they signed a liability release. Come on.... If hitting someone is okay then why is this over-the-top verbal abuse okay. Did you see the video on You Tube (after he banged the pots in morning) where he was talking about Dustin's bleeding anus (cleaned up because I have more class than Dick) and on and on he went about homosexuals. It is just crazy some of the abuse he was heaping on the HGs.

No it's not. Slander is against the law. Libel is against the law. Verbal abuse is only against the law (in some cases) if an employer does it and creates a hostile work environment which causes the the employee to be unable to tolerate working there, in which case they can sue for damages. Verbal abuse is illegal if it causes severe emotional harm to one's child , and can be a reason a judge will grant a divorce, if the abuse is directed at a spouse. No one has a case against Dick. "Verbal abuse" is simply another game piece.

No, all the houseguests had to sign a release form before they entered the house. The release form has a thing in it about how they could be subjected to verbal abuse during the course of the show so they knew what they were getting into. However, that being said, I really think ED crossed the line in some of the stuff he was screaming at Dustin, Jameka and Amber. The BB folks should have intervened immediately and stopped him.

No....he's supposed to be like that to make it interesting. Jen's been an awfully good sport about the whole thing...for a girl who cries over how her picture looks she's not at all emotional about being verbally abused. She's even up-beat about wearing a bunny suit, getting gunk dumped on her and eating slop for the rest of her time there. As for Evel Dick....well I used to like him but he's really too obnoxious. I think it is time for him to leave.

no, its called "freedom of speech"
if he does continue to verbally abuse someone out of the house (which i doubt he will since he has a life) then he can get a restraining order.

by the way, if ppl know anything about reality tv, its that they exaggerate everything. they cut, edit, etc everything. amber can cry for 10 minutes only once and then they can edit it to make it seem like she was crying 10 times for a different thing. same with dick or with jen.

It relies upon on what state you reside in and report for divorce in. some states enable for "no fault" divorces meaning that it fairly does not remember what the guy did with some exceptions. seem up your state below the class below and discover out if verbal abuse is considered. even no remember if that's not, it would be something that would desire to be placed on checklist if allowed---communicate it which incorporate your lawyer. do not enable your husband to cut back verbal and emotional abuse, that's usually does extra harm than particularly actual abuse over the years. good success to you.

nope. besides, it's a game and the people in the house should know what they got themselves into before they decided to go on the show. (also, i heared they signed a release form - which means they should expect someone like dick)

I seriously doubt it. It is a game and I think the players realize that. I am not saying I agree with his tactics but that is how he chose to play the game. As long as he is not being physically violent there is really nothing the other players/producers can do.
