Amazing answers. The problem is that moisture is entering from a hole in a seal somewhere, and some folks recommend adding more holes in the thing.

Way to go shade tree mechanics.

Find and repair the leak, or get another headlight housing. I would recommend replacing both headlight housings anyway, nothing beats fresh new fixtures for improved night time visibility.

That means the air tight seal on the lense is no longer air tight...lol. If it bothers you that there is some residual moisture in the lense then yes it should be replaced, but unless the moisture starts causing bulbs to blow out then the replacement is not neccessary.

There is a gasket that goes around the bulb - that is the problem 75% of the time.

The other 25% is fixed by drilling a tiny hole near the bottom.

study the lens for indications of a small pebble crack. If there is one, that's selaed with clean silicone. the different probability is on the Rear of the assembly, the place the bulb is sealed to the lower back of the gentle fixture. If this rubber boot has torn, water might enter. you may could get rid of the lamp to empty it. Or use ashop vac to evacuate the water as quickly as the bulb is bumped off. utilising slightly of rubbing alcohol will help in evaporation. good success!!

it's no big deal at first but over time it will make your lense foggy inside and out.
