when a person is not lucid enough to make decisions, cannot function in life circumstances, or has difficulty maintaining rational thought. this normally pertains to schizophrenia, deep clinical depression, severe panic disorder (when one cannot function outside his/her home), or paranoid or dilusional behavior. I could go on and on. email me if you want some more, or specific examples. seems everyone in my family has some form of psychological disorder except me. my grandmother had a nervous breakdown, my brother is borderline schizophrenic, and my mother has panic disorder.

I must be, I stay in a relationship with promises that things will get better and they never do so I guess that is a good definition of psychologically incapacitated-- doing the same thing over and over and hoping for a different result.

If the person acts stupid or immature, chances are this person is stupid or immature or psychologically challenged
